Since the last facial product I featured was a splurge, I thought I would share a serious deal this time. A few months ago, I tried a face mask that was like a little piece of heaven for my skin. It was a honey mask. My skin was glowing, dewy, and smooth. The bad news, it cost $28 and didn't last for very long. I was in love with the product, but not with the price tag. What to do?
Clearly, I went out and bought myself a large bottle of honey. Twice a week, I bring it in the shower, smooth some on my face, and let the honey work its magic with the steam of the shower. It reduces inflammation and swelling. It moisturizes and promotes healing. Thank you, Mother Nature! It is a good idea to try to buy honey that is collected as close to where you live as possible.
